Preston, Julieanna and Hélène Frichot. "Tabling Femininities: Two or More Voices on Still Life" [abstract and performative presentation]. At WritingPlace Conference, TU Delft, Delft, Holland, November 2013.

Tabling Femininities was a performance that used a domestic tea party between two women as the basis for a critical foray into issues of still life and notions of new materialism. The projection from a web cam roving the table of tea party delights displayed a horizontal world evolving while a dialogue ensued. The performance sought to gather as many voices at the intersection of feminism, materiality and the protocols of setting a table and hosting guests. This script and reflections on this performance will be published soon.
